What you'll do

As a Personal Care Aide, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on support that helps clients remain safe and independent at home.

Responsibilities

include:

  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
  • Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Assisting with errands, shopping, and transportation to appointments
  • Helping with walking, transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Observing changes in a client's condition and communicating concerns to the care team
  • Creating a safe, comfortable home environment
  • Engaging clients in activities they enjoy, including games, reading, hobbies, and conversation

What we're looking for

We're looking for caring individuals who enjoy helping others and take pride in providing exceptional care.

Qualifications

include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active New Hampshire Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
  • Six months of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid New Hampshire driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate attitude
