The Locum Endocrinologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating hormonal disorders through patient assessments and diagnostic tests. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and maintain accurate patient records.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and an active medical license to practice in Lebanon. Board certification and 1-3 years of experience in endocrinology or a related field are required.

As a Locum Endocrinologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating hormonal disorders while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for our patients. This role is essential for maintaining continuity of care and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional health services to the community.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans for endocrine disorders Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and their families about endocrine health and treatment options Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives Stay informed about the latest advancements in endocrinology
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice in Lebanon 1-3 years of experience in endocrinology or a related field Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in managing endocrine disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Call Requirement: 1 week per month, Saturday & Sunday onsite
Setting: Primarily outpatient with optional inpatient consult coverage
Appointments: 60 minutes per new patient, 30 minutes per follow-up
Case Types: General endocrine care, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and pituitary and adrenal disorders
Support Staff: MAs, RNs, Chief, Practice Manager, Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, and Diabetes Educators
EMR: Epic with ambient listening technology and voice dictation
Must be board-certified
