About the role

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include assisting anesthesia providers, managing room turnover, and documenting patient care accurately.

Join EANM as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN/OR) and be part of a surgical team dedicated to providing exceptional care in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate surgical care. You’ll collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and a smooth patient experience. What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain efficient room turnover and ensure patient readiness for procedures
  • Assist anesthesia providers during induction, monitoring for and responding to any patient emergencies
  • Safely identify, label, and administer medications and solutions while documenting all care accurately
  • Support orientation of new staff, maintain operating room readiness, and assist in leadership or charge nurse duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Current New Mexico RN license required
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing
  • Experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery setting preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic and plastic surgery procedures and aseptic technique
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills under pressure
  • Commitment to completing required annual LMS training and adhering to safety protocols
