About the role

Provide direct nursing care to patients during the pre- and post-operative phases in an ambulatory surgery center. Responsibilities include assessing patient preparedness, administering medications, and managing emergent situations to ensure positive surgical outcomes.

Join EANM as a 20 to 30 hour a week Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), where you'll provide direct patient care in both the pre- and post-operative phases. This vital role supports patient safety, education, and positive surgical outcomes. You'll work alongside a dedicated team of professionals in a supportive, patient-focused environment. What You'll Do

  • Provide pre- and post-op nursing care using the full nursing process
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
  • Confirm surgical site, review documentation, and verify patient preparedness
  • Administer medications, manage airways, and respond to emergent situations
  • Document accurately in EMR and communicate and interdisciplinary teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Current NM RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in PACU or surgical holding preferred
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
  • Critical care background preferred for PACU RNs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
