About the role

The nurse will circulate and scrub during ophthalmic and oculoplastic procedures while supporting anesthesia and airway management. They are responsible for maintaining sterile techniques, monitoring patient clinical changes, and ensuring accurate documentation.

What You'll Do

  • Circulate and/or scrub during ophthalmic and oculoplastic procedures
  • Support anesthesia induction, emergence, and airway management
  • Monitor for clinical changes and initiate emergency response when needed
  • Ensure proper sterile technique, instrument use, and room turnover
  • Accurately document care and administer medications per protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • Current NM RN license
  • Experience in the operating room or outpatient surgery preferred
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required (ACLS/BLS training provided)
  • Knowledge of AORN standards and surgical asepsis
  • Strong clinical judgement and ability to prioritize in high-volume settings
