The Pharmacy Technician III assists with operational and distribution responsibilities, including medication procurement and aseptic admixture. They are responsible for maintaining USP 797 standards and operating automated dispensing cabinets.
Requires a high school diploma and current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy. A national CPhT certification and over four years of experience as a pharmacy technician are mandatory.
Education/Training High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy. Current Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate (CPht) received through a nationally recognized program (e.g., Pharmacy Technician Certification Board – PTCB, Institute of Pharmacy Technicians – ICPT) is required. Maintenance of current certification is required.
Experience Greater than four (4) years of experience as a pharmacy technician
