The Assessing Therapist coordinates intake and assessment activities to determine mental health diagnoses and medical necessity for children and families. They collaborate with intake specialists and program coordinators to ensure timely admissions and accurate documentation.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling and be licensed in Ohio as an LISW, LSW, LPCC, or LPC. At least two years of experience diagnosing children with mental health problems and current CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Positive Leaps is seeking a 1099 Assessing Therapist! The Assessing Therapist will coordinate Positive Leaps intake and assessment activities to ensure quality of services to families and children.
Potential for exposure to blood and body fluids. Works directly with physically aggressive children. Exposed to loud noise, such as repeated and prolonged screaming and crying. Expected to be able to run, work easily in a physically active environment and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Fast paced, stressful environment.
