The LPN provides safe, patient-centered care within a Med/Surg acute care environment, including assessing patients and administering medications. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and provide education to patients and families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current LPN or LPN-IV license from the Mississippi Board of Nursing and BLS certification. At least one year of LPN experience is required.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Working closely with the interdisciplinary care team, you will assess patients, carry out treatment plans, and provide vital support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. Flexibility and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced, acute care environment. What You'll Do: Deliver care that meets the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of each patient Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans Perform treatments and administer medications within scope of LPN/LPN-IV certification Assist in admissions, discharges, and patient transfers Provide clear and compassionate patient and family education Accurately document patient care, conditions, and any adverse events Respond to emergencies, including initiating resuscitative measures as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Comply with infection control policies and hospital procedures Mentor and coach fellow team members when needed Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical competencies Perform other duties as assigned
