The Admissions Specialist manages the registration and admission of patients into the facility while maintaining communication with referrals and families. They are responsible for reviewing admission criteria, scheduling assessments, and coordinating patient transportation.
A college degree and two years of healthcare admissions experience, preferably in mental health or substance abuse, are preferred. Required certifications include CPR and de-escalation/restraint training.
