The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care by developing, implementing, and revising patient-specific plans of care. This includes performing psychosocial and physiologic assessments while integrating nursing standards and physician orders.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree, though a BSN is preferred. Prior RN experience is required, and experience in psychiatric nursing is highly desirable.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the development of a plan of care, including implementing, reassessing, evaluating and revising the plan of care. The RN develops these patient-specific plans by performing psychosocial/physiologic assessments, considering patients' cultural/ ethical/ spiritual needs, reviewing trends of similar patients, as well as considering physicians' orders regarding care. The RN integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care to include patient and family education, and actively supports and incorporates nursing regulations and standards, as well as Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures in daily practice. RN experience required. Psych RN experience preferred but not required.
