What you will do as a Hospice Certified Nurse Aide

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, feeding, and mobility Monitor patient comfort and report changes in condition to the primary nurse Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance Assist with changing linens, maintaining patient living spaces, and organizing supplies Set up and maintain medical equipment including hospital beds and wheelchairs Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations as needed
• What we are looking for: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program with current Virginia CNA licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred (home health, hospice, or long-term care experience preferred) Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient-centered, and emotionally resilient Comfort working independently in home and facility settings Experience with electronic medical records preferred Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

• Schedule: Full-time opportunities available with rotating weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities
• Location: Serving patients throughout the Good Samaritan Hospice service area including homes, facilities, and hospitals
