Produce diagnostic ultrasound images of various organs and structures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires an advanced understanding of anatomy and vascular physiology to operate imaging modality effectively.
Candidates must be graduates of an ultrasonography program and be registry eligible or registered by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI. A current BLS certification is required, and a degree in a relevant health science field is preferred.
To assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic images of various organs and structures of the human body through the use of high frequency sound waves (ultrasound).Ultrasound is an extremely operator dependent imaging modality this position requires and advanced understanding of anatomy an vascular physiology.
