The provider manages inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients through consultations, diagnostic procedures, and the implementation of evidence-based treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing surgical tasks, prescribing medications, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical research.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Florida with current BLS certification. A postgraduate degree in nursing or graduation from an accredited PA program is required, with cardiology experience preferred.
The advanced practice provider provides inpatient/ outpatient management, consultations, and co-management of patients in the acute care and practice setting.
