The Certified Medical Assistant provides patient care and clinical support under the direction of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory setting. Key duties include gathering patient data, assisting with examinations, administering medications, and managing clinical documentation.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with a Medical Assistant certification or at least one year of verifiable experience. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and a valid certification from an approved agency (e.g., CCMA, CMA, RMA) are required.
