The Certified Medical Assistant provides patient care and clinical support under the direction of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory setting. Key duties include gathering patient data, administering medications, and managing clinical documentation and scheduling.
Candidates must be high school graduates with a Medical Assistant certification or at least one year of verifiable experience in a patient care setting. A current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and registration from a recognized agency (e.g., AAMA, NHA, AMT) are required.
