Provide orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a fast-paced walk-in urgent care setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care plans and perform in-office procedures such as injections and casting.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with active state licensure and DEA certification. Prior experience in orthopedic surgery, urgent care, or sports medicine is required.

Provide orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting to a walk-in orthopedic urgent care setting. Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and development of treatment plans. Order, interpret, and review diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies as appropriate. Perform in-office orthopedic procedures within scope of practice, including injections, splinting, casting, bracing, and wound care. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, injury prevention, and post-visit care instructions. Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, radiology staff, and clinical support teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Accurately document patient encounters and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR). Support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced walk-in orthopedic care environment. Provide coverage at Long Ridge Medical Center in Stamford, CT during evening and weekend hours.
