Maintain the respiratory and cardiac status of patients recovering from anesthesia through continuous assessment and execution of physician orders. Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatment plan evaluation, while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
Requires a Registered Nurse (RN) license and an associate degree in nursing, with a bachelor's degree preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are essential, and perianesthesia certification (CPAN/CAPA) is preferred.
This position maintains adequate respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia. Continually assesses the patient, carries out doctor's orders while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
