Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and active Connecticut licensure (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LPC). Experience in substance use or co-occurring disorder treatment and proficiency in clinical documentation are essential.

This role provides individual, family, and group counseling services within a collaborative treatment team environment, supporting clients with substance use and mental health needs through evidence based care, advocacy, and coordinated treatment planning. What You’ll Do Provide individual, family, and group counseling services. Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and discharge plans. Manage an active caseload while coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams. Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing client evaluations. Support clients with housing, financial, legal, educational, vocational, and community resource needs. Ensure compliance with ASAM guidelines, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards. Collaborate with medical, nursing, and behavioral health providers to coordinate treatment. Advocate for client needs and support successful transitions through different levels of care. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation. What You’ll Need Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field. Active Connecticut licensure or eligibility for one of the following: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPCA, LMFT, or LADC. Experience providing substance use, behavioral health, or co-occurring disorder treatment services. Experience conducting assessments, treatment planning, and counseling interventions. Strong documentation, communication, and care coordination skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Computer proficiency and electronic documentation experience. What Would Be a Plus Bilingual Spanish speaking ability. Experience in residential treatment settings. Experience with ASAM criteria and level of care determinations. Experience serving co-occurring mental health and substance use populations. Connecticut Certified Clinical Supervisor credential. Experience working with Medicaid, community behavioral health, or recovery support programs. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
