• Department/Unit Summary Provides comprehensive patient-centered care by performing clinical interventions such as medication administration, treatments, and specimen collection, while accurately documenting care and monitoring patient conditions.
• Communicates effectively with the care team, patients, and families, assists with activities of daily living, and collaborates across disciplines to support care coordination, discharge planning, and psychosocial needs.
• Educates patients and families based on individualized needs and advocates for patient rights, safety, and overall well-being.
• Demonstrates leadership at the point of care by delegating tasks, supervising staff, maintaining clear communication with leadership and interdisciplinary teams, and fostering positive relationships.
• Upholds ethical and legal standards, adapts to changing workloads, utilizes technology effectively, supports staff development through precepting, and maintains a strong focus on service excellence and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• Become Biotherapy Certified within 2 years
