Provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, and resource mobilization for children and families with complex psycho-social needs. Deliver crisis intervention and short-term therapeutic services within a multi-disciplinary pediatric hospital setting.
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work and a Minnesota State LGSW license, with LICSW preferred. Candidates need experience in crisis intervention and two years of counseling in healthcare or pediatric settings.

The Social Work department provides emotional support and counseling to children and their families. They provide crisis intervention services, help with adjustment issues, grief and loss counseling, mental health assessments, case coordination, community advocate support, and short-term therapeutic interventions.
To provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and resource mobilization for families and children who have complex psycho-social and emotional needs in a multi-disciplinary pediatric hospital setting. Pediatric social workers provide these services to children 0-18 years of age and their families.
This position is intended for a strong LGSW social worker, who may occasionally work in tandem with the on-site LICSW social worker while providing services hospital wide.
• Master's degree in social work required.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
