Assists physicians and nursing staff with patient care, chart management, and patient flow. Performs delegated medical tasks and clerical duties using electronic systems.
Requires a Medical Assistant certification and CPR certification. Candidates should have a high school diploma and either graduation from an accredited training program or 3-5 years of supervised medical experience.
Responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care. Responsible for chart management and patient flow. Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties. Where the electronic system is in use, this position will utilize the system as documented in the department and/or FPI standard operating procedure and process; and other duties as assigned.
