The Medical Assistant performs basic diagnostic procedures, collects specimens, and monitors patient conditions. They are also responsible for maintaining medical supplies and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and patient registration.
A high school diploma and certifications such as CCMA, CMA, or RMA are preferred. Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire and possess strong critical thinking skills.
