The Medical Assistant manages patient flow, scheduling, and check-in processes within the cardiology clinic. They are also responsible for maintaining patient financial records and handling telephone communications.
Candidates must be a high school graduate and a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, while previous office or medical experience is preferred.

Assists in the delivery of all office related healthcare and patient care management. Directs the patient flow process at physician's office. Performs patient check in and appointment scheduling as assigned. Supports PPSI by maintaining patient financial records at the office. Provides closure to patient visit. Answers and directs all telephone calls appropriately.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - 26.24 per hour.
Pay is determined based on various factors, including education level, years of experience, relevant certifications, and specific skills related to the position. The final compensation package will be discussed with Human Resources to ensure fairness and alignment with the candidate's qualifications.
