Applicants claiming Indian Preference must complete the full application and must provide documentation verifying eligibility (such as a tribal enrollment card or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)).
• Job duties include, but are not limited to: Draws blood and collects other specimens, including times specimens, from patients or donors in the clinic for analysis or other medical purposes under the direct supervision of the Lab Supervisor. Assembles equipment according to requirements for specified tests or procedures. Converses with the patient to allay fears about the procedure. Properly documents lab specimens and requisitions; maintains lab records, assists in logging lab results, and notifying medical staff of abnormal results. Qualifications Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position Must align with OKCIC vision, mission, and core values High school diploma or GED required At least two years of phlebotomy experience in all age groups, including pediatrics required Prefer certification in phlebotomy
