Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab Outreach team in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity working Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and occasional Saturdays at our Baptist Downtown location.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for: Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
Utilizing computer functions.
Education and Certification Requirements: High School Diploma Required Associates Degree Preferred Phlebotomy Certification Preferred This Medical Laboratory Assistant II position will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
