Travel Registered Nurse OB/GYN Job

• Overview Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Travel) is available in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.
• This travel temporary assignment begins on 07/06/2026 for 14 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to OB/GYN patients, including monitoring vitals, fetal status, labor progress, and postpartum recovery as appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IVs and standard obstetric care therapies.
• Document patient status accurately in the EMR; communicate changes in condition to the multidisciplinary team and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Assist with obstetric and gynecologic procedures as assigned; provide labor support and postpartum assistance; support newborn care when applicable.
• Educate patients and families on obstetric care, postpartum recovery, newborn care, discharge planning, and safety considerations.
• Uphold infection control practices, patient safety standards, and privacy regulations; participate in handoffs and shift-to-shift communication.

Requirements

• GYN experience required
• Experience as a registered nurse in obstetrics/gynecology preferred
• EMR experience or willingness to complete a 4-hour EMR training
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts (5x8 schedule)
• Ability to commute within 30 minutes of scheduled start times
