Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care to adult patients within a short-term acute care setting with LTC elements
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in condition; communicate findings to the care team
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments; ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation
• Develop, implement, and update patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other team members
• Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and compliance with policy
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, safety, and discharge planning; support continuity of care

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and proof of documentation skills
• Effective communication and teamwork with an interdisciplinary care team
• Eligibility to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and begin on the requested start date
