Responsibilities

• Triage obstetric patients and coordinate with the care team to determine immediate needs and priorities.
• Circulate during labor, delivery, and procedures as assigned; support the anesthesia and obstetrics teams as needed.
• Recover and provide post-anesthesia care in PACU, including monitoring vitals, managing pain control, and ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor fetal status and respond to emergencies in collaboration with the obstetric team.
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record; participate in handoffs and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (or appropriate multi-state licensure) and eligibility to practice in the assignment location.
• Education: Nursing degree from an approved program (ASN/BSN or higher accepted).
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and/or PACU; ability to perform triage, circulate, and recovery duties in PACU per job notes.
• Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts; available to cover 3 shifts per week (36 hours).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced obstetric setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
