Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans per physician orders with attention to patient safety and radiation protection
• Position patients, select imaging parameters, and operate CT equipment, including GE scanners (older platform and Revolution platform)
• Verify orders in the EPIC EMR, document procedures, and communicate results to the radiology team
• Support trauma, stroke, and burn imaging workflows; provide coverage for inpatient imaging and overnight neuro floor imaging as needed
• Maintain image quality, participate in safety and QA activities, and ensure readiness of equipment and supplies

Requirements

• Certification: ARRT CT certification preferred
• Experience: CT imaging experience in a high-volume setting; trauma center exposure preferred
• Technical: Proficiency with GE CT scanners (legacy platforms and Revolution)
• Systems: EPIC EMR experience
• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Availability: Ability to relocate and work the stated weekend day shift for a 13-week assignment
