Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans for trauma, neuro, and other acute care patients in a Level 1 trauma environment.
• Prepare patients, position them accurately, and apply appropriate CT protocols to optimize image quality while minimizing dose.
• Operate multiple CT scanners, including platforms from GE, and adapt imaging sequences to clinical indications and patient safety needs.
• Guard patient safety, monitor for contrast reactions when applicable, and maintain infection control and radiation safety standards.
• Acquire high-quality images and transmit them to the EPIC electronic medical record for radiologist interpretation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and care teams to ensure timely image delivery and patient throughput.

Requirements

• Certifications: ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Experience: Prior CT imaging experience in a hospital environment is preferred; familiarity with GE CT scanners and Revolution platform is a plus.
• Software: Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Availability: Able to work the listed shift (Mon/Tue/Wed, 9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.) and adapt to rotating duties as needed.
• Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent recommended.
• Licensure: Not specified in job notes; active licensure in radiologic technology is commonly required for practice.
