Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care for adult patients, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and plan-of-care implementation.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IVs, lines, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Operate and monitor ICU equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion devices) and respond to alarms promptly.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary ICU team to adjust patient care plans and communicate changes with physicians.
• Document all care and patient responses accurately in the EMR (Meditech 6.0); ensure timely charting.
• Be willing to float to Med Surg as needed and to participate in 24-hour call coverage as required.

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Willingness to float to Med Surg when needed
• Meditech 6.0 experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions - 100-mile radius rule applies to permanent address eligibility
• RTO: No more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract
