The Caregiver enhances the abundant life of residents by providing assistance through the performance of routine direct and indirect resident activities according to established policies and procedures. This role involves maintaining resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality while promoting resident acceptance of support plans and responding promptly to overall resident needs.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old, with successful completion of state direct care programs required, though CPR/First Aid certification can be obtained after hiring. Additional experience serving elders is preferred, and basic computer knowledge is necessary.
