Overview MRI Technologist – Travel assignment in Cumming, GA starting 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,235-$2,373 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

2x3 Days. This role supports MRI imaging services in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting providing care to ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for adult and pediatric patients following protocol to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
• Screen for contraindications, administer or manage contrast as needed, monitor for adverse reactions, and maintain patient safety throughout the study.
• Properly position patients, select appropriate coils and sequences, and adjust protocols to optimize image quality while prioritizing patient comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment, maintain a safe imaging environment, and comply with safety standards and department policies.
• Document procedures and imaging results in the Cerner EMR; communicate findings and coordinate with radiologists and referring clinicians; provide patient education as needed.
• Support ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging as assigned, including involvement with breast MRI and related biopsy exams when required.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) and AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience.
• Cerner EMR experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department serving ED, inpatients, and outpatients.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; current MRI-related licensure or credentials as applicable.
