Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to orders, ensuring image quality and patient safety
• Properly position patients and select imaging parameters; verify exam details and document findings
• Operate radiology equipment, apply radiation safety principles, and maintain ALARA standards
• Review images for technical adequacy; communicate results to radiologists and clinical staff
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot routine issues, and report malfunctions
• Collaborate with radiology team, nursing, and physicians to support patient care and workflow

Requirements

• Active Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license in hand prior to submittal
• ARRT (LRT) certification
• BLS certification
• Education: graduate of a two-year accredited Radiology Technology program
• Experience: minimum 1 year of recent Radiology Tech experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and support weekend/night coverage
