Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during the designated shift as a registered professional nurse.
• Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process and the medical plan of care, incorporating input from the patient and significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team; coordinate delivery of care for patients of any age per unit assignment.
• Integrate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
• This position is represented by CNA.

Requirements

• Active RN license in California (state of practice).
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Comfort providing care across a broad age range within the unit’s scope.
