The Registered Nurse performs physical and psychosocial assessments and provides patient-focused care within a primary care facility. Key duties include administering medications, performing immunizations, and facilitating continuity of care through collaboration with the healthcare team.
Candidates must hold a current New York State RN license and BLS/CPR certification, with a BSN or an associate degree meeting NYSED requirements. Experience in a medical office setting, phlebotomy skills, and knowledge of infectious diseases are preferred.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for performing the duties of a registered nurse in the primary care facility. They collaborate and support the team members to ensure a patient-focused approach to care. The Registered Nurse assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history and physical examinations.
Qualified candidate will have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State (see RN education requirements below); current BLS/CPR certification; one (1) year of experience in a medical office setting preferred; experience with HIV/AIDS or other infectious disease practice preferred; demonstrated phlebotomy skills preferred; candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally and have familiarity with computers and MS software (Outlook, Word); Candidate must have familiarity with electronic charting system, Medent preferred; sensitivity toward cultural diversity, awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential
