The Pharmacy Technician - SRT provides pharmaceutical support and maintains professional relationships with healthcare providers to facilitate patient treatment plans. They act as a passionate advocate for patients with HIV/AIDS, ensuring privacy and sensitivity to the stigma associated with the disease.
Candidates must hold a state license for the state they are applying to. Preferred qualifications include multiple state licenses, PTCB certification, IMZ, and CPR certification.
A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual, in addition to the specifics of the job classification below.
A Pharmacy Technician - SRT enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the “stigma” of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy.
