Administers various types of anesthetics to patients during surgical, medical, and dental procedures. Provides comprehensive patient care management throughout the peri-anesthetic period.
Requires a current NC RN license, CRNA verification, BCLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. A BSN is required or must be obtained within a specific timeframe, with a Master's degree preferred.
Administers intravenous, general and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Comprehensive patient care management throughout the peri-anesthetic period.
Master’s degree or higher. PALS certification.
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
Two or more years of experience working in hospital setting.
