Provide consultative pediatric palliative care services to patients of all ages and disease stages within a tertiary care hospital and outpatient clinic. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, therapists, and spiritual care providers.
Requires an M.D. or D.O. degree, an unrestricted Texas Medical license, and completion of an ACGME or AMA approved pediatric residency. Must be board certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine with BLS and PALS certifications.
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date). Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics. Board certified/board eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. American Heart Association BLS and PALS.
