Provide structure and supervision to justice-involved men in a residential work release program to support their re-entry into the community. Help clients maintain recovery, secure employment, and transition into productive citizenship through rehabilitation and education.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree. A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain professional boundaries are also required.
This Residential Aide- will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved men as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent or an Associate's Degree Valid Driver’s License Regular and predictable attendance is required Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
