Provide broad general surgery care including clinic visits, operative cases, and endoscopy in a community-based setting. Manage inpatient care and shared call responsibilities across Sevier Valley, Delta Community, and Fillmore Community Hospitals.
Requires an MD or DO degree and Board Eligibility or Certification in General Surgery. Must possess or be able to obtain a Utah medical license, along with BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications.

About this role: As a General Surgeon at Sevier Valley Hospital, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role, you will provide broad general surgery care in a community-based setting with a mix of clinic, operative cases, endoscopy, inpatient care, and call responsibilities. You may also provide coverage at Delta Community Hospital and Fillmore Community Hospital as part of the broader service area. You’ll be a great fit for this opportunity if you enjoy rural/community medicine, value team-based care, and are excited to help expand access to general surgery services in Central Utah. You’ll practice at Sevier Valley Hospital and Sevier Valley Specialty Clinic Clinic schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm Typical week includes 1.5 days endoscopy, one full day in the OR, and variable clinic time. The 3 OR’s (with the ability to add a fourth one) are equipped for laparoscopic, lasers and open procedures. Sevier Valley Hospital is a nationally recognized Top 20 rural hospital and Level IV Trauma Center located in Richfield, Utah. With 29 licensed beds and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, the hospital serves as the primary healthcare resource for Sevier County.
