Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating equipment, and accurately documenting procedures and patient interactions.
Must be currently enrolled in a JRCERT- or AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program with completed clinical and didactic training. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers is required.

Summary Perform all diagnostic procedures within Scope of Practice under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist. What You’ll Do Practice within the scope of state licensure and student guidelines Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency across clinical and technical functions Verify patient identification and orders; prepare patients for imaging procedures Perform exams according to department protocols and evaluate images for quality and accuracy Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe environment for patients and caregivers Complete studies efficiently while upholding quality and patient care standards Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address questions or concerns Follow infection control and sterile technique protocols Operate imaging equipment and systems to produce high-quality results Accurately document procedures, patient interactions, and any adverse reactions Follow protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, and quality control What You’ll Bring Strong foundation in anatomy and image evaluation Ability to operate imaging equipment and follow contrast protocols Calm and effective response in urgent or emergent situations Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with electronic imaging systems Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.) May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
