Performs and assists with various radiologic procedures following established protocols. Operates radiographic equipment safely to produce quality images for radiologist interpretation.
Requires a high school diploma and graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program. Must have 1 year of experience, Reg Technologist (R) license, and Basic Life Support certification.
Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists. Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. Required
Experience 1 year experience in radiology Preferred
Licenses Reg Technologist (R) Required Basic Life Support Required
