Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors, adults, and children with disabilities throughout Alameda County. This is an on-call position for in-home care throughout Alameda County. The on-call hours to choose from are Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm OR Saturday - Sunday 7am-5pm. All non-working on-call hours are paid up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• On-call as-needed. The hired candidate will be paid for the entire time they are on-call, working or not.
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate service documentation
