Deliver physical therapy services and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Monitor patient progress and provide necessary education to patients and caregivers to improve overall function.
Requires an active Florida license as a Physical Therapy Assistant, a valid driver's license, and current CPR certification. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of experience in both physical therapy and home health settings.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Deliver physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist (PT) Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall function Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress/concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist (PT) Accurately document patient visits, interventions, and progress as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Provide education and guidance to patients and caregivers to support continued progress Qualifications for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Active license from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Valid Florida driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass AHCA Clearinghouse background screening (https://info.flclearinghouse.com) Current in-person CPR certification Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, bending, lifting, and assisting patients/equipment Strong customer service, communication skills and effective listening Experience Preferred for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience Compensation for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Pay is commensurate with Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience, Home Health background, and documentation proficiency
