Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a licensed psychologist for the outpatient Integrated Behavioral Health Program.
This position will support patients across both primary and specialty care settings, delivering assessment, brief evidence-based interventions, and consultation to medical teams in support of the behavioral, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs of children and adolescents within these settings.
Specialty settings may include Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, among others, with the opportunity to expand into additional specialty care clinics as the behavioral health program grows.
The integrated model within primary care also includes the psychologist’s consult in the early identification of concerns for autism spectrum disorder, in collaboration with pediatricians.
Candidates should have a background in clinical, school, or pediatric psychology, and experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric behavioral health disorders.
The clinician should have a broad knowledge base of evidenced based treatment approaches for pediatric developmental and behavioral health disorders, including experience with behavioral interventions and psychotherapeutic strategies.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse demographic of clients and providing culturally and linguistically responsive care.
