Registered Nurse -- RN

7P-7A Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a meaningful role where your skills directly contribute to patient recovery? At Recovery Centers of America (RCA), we prioritize personalized, evidence-based treatment to help individuals overcome substance use disorders. Become a vital part of our team and support our mission to guide patients toward lasting recovery.

What You'll Do As an RN at RCA, you will

  • Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
  • Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on the nature of mental health disorders, the disease of addiction and the need for treatment.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals. What We're Looking For
  • An active RN license in [state]
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or 5 years of supervisory experience; phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.
  • CARN certification preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to safely administer medications and proficiency in effectively managing medical and behavioral health emergencies such as suicide ideation and aggression.
  • Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders and DSM criteria and terminology.
