Performs direct patient care under supervision, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and conducting diagnostic tests like EKGs. Manages clinic flow and administrative tasks such as medical record filing and room maintenance.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant training program or 1-3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be certified as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or CNA.
