Registered Nurse- C.P. Choudari Surgical Center- As Needed
The Registered Nurse in the C.P.
Choudari Surgical Center will have a strong focus on pre-op and post-op care for patients.
This includes medication review, pre-op assessment, procedure preparation (including IV starts), and post anesthesia care.
Under the direction of the attending physician and the direct supervision of the office manager/supervisor, the registered nurse provides general nursing care to patients in the ambulatory surgery facility using nursing processes, independent judgement, and evidenced based practice to assess actual or potential health problems.
In addition, the registered nurse provides other clinical tasks ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsible and accountable for the delivery and documentation of patient care during the intraoperative period.
Mon.- Fri. 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm
Education - ASN or RN Diploma nursing required. BSN preferred.
Experience - Minimum of one-year clinical experience preferred. PACU, Surgery Center, Critical Care experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to apply the standards of the professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must have high level of organizational and communication skills.
