Overview Hourly pay rate

  • Location: 77 Trails End Road Eureka, Montana 59917 New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, distributed in three $500 installments—after 30 days, six months, and twelve months of employment—contingent upon continued employment and meeting eligibility requirements. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support adolescents ages (13-18) in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. Every day you will participate and guide teen girls in experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, hiking, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities. To thrive at Chrysalis, you must have an empathetic heart and maintain personal and professional boundaries with teens. At Chrysalis our mission is to lead the way in driving teen and young adult anxiety, depression, and suicide from the all-time highs of today to all-time lows by 2028.

Responsibilities

Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teen girls as they arise Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere Communicate important observations and updates to the Shift Leads and Shift Managers At end of shift, document client progress notes daily With an empathetic heart encourages teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

Qualifications

Age: 21+ years of age or older Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
  • Certifications: CPR and First
  • Aid certification preferred, will provide training

  • Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws. We warmly welcome EMTs to apply for this position! Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED and must be at least 21 years old. Preference is given to candidates with a degree in human services or psychology and at least one year of experience with adolescents.
